4 Wheels - Road Tuning. Forge Turbo Blanket Fit Mini, Peugeot, Citroen Inc Cooper S, DS3 Racing, 208 GTI. Forge Motorsport's Turbo Blanket is designed to insulate the rest of the engine from the heat of the turbo. Insulates engine bay from turbo heat.
Keeps hot air away from intake. Designed to fit wide range of popular turbos. Forge Motorsport developed their turbo blanket to go on the highly tuned turbo of their Mk1 Golf.
Designed to keep the heat of the turbo away from the rest of the engine, this wraps around the turbo and keeps the heat in. The flexible design means that it can accomodate a range of popular turbos. This turbo blanket is designed to fit Mini R56 stock turbo chargers found in the N14/N18 Prince engines (including Peugeot 207/208 GTI).Forge built this to stand up to the demands of motorsport and it's extremely well made. The outer is carbon fabric. The core is made of calcium magnesium silicate wool with a silica fabric inner liner. The inner surface can stand temperatures up to 1260° Celsius for short periods of time and sustained temperatures of 1000°.
The fabric used is flexible (until it is cured by heat) so this will potentially fit a wide range of applications. Once fitted, the heat from the turbo will cure it into shape and Forge don't recommend removing it. 20.10.2025, 11:15:53. We are putting the'customer' back into'Customer Service'.
